1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove lower steering column cover. On models equipped with column shift automatic transmission, remove gear selector dial actuator cable
from steering column shift shroud.

3.

Remove instrument cluster bezel attaching screws across top of bezel, above radio and behind glove box door.

4.

Tip top of bezel outward and disengage tabs along bottom edge of bezel.

5.

If equipped, disconnect glove box lamp wire connector.

6.

Depress speedometer cable locking tab and disconnect speedometer cable.

7.

Push downward on three illumination lamp housings above bezel, until lamp housings are clear of instrument panel.

8.

Disconnect headlamp switch and wiper control connectors and switch lamp. To disconnect headlamp switch connector, lift two locking tabs.

9.

Twist and remove cluster illumination lamp sockets, then disconnect instrument cluster wire connectors.

10.

Remove clock or tachometer attaching screws, if equipped. It is not necessary to remove clock adjusting knob.

11.

Disconnect clock or tachometer feed wires from circuit board, if equipped.

12.

Remove cluster housing and circuit board to bezel attaching screws.

13.

Remove cluster housing and circuit board assembly from bezel. If equipped with clock or tachometer, position aside as necessary.
