The exhaust solenoid is located in the compressor head assembly and performs two functions. First, the exhaust solenoid exhausts air from the system
when energized and is controlled by the electronic height sensor. Second, the exhaust solenoid acts as a blow-off valve to limit the maximum output
pressure of the air compressor.
