Remove the plenum mounting bolt above the accelerator pedal (Figure 11).

Carefully remove the clear plastic covering from the butyl tape seal on the supplied splash shield.
NOTE:
If the butyl tape begins to tear away from the shield, leave plastic covering attached and cut out center opening for heat duct.

Install the splash shield as shown in Figure 10. Make sure that the shield opening aligns with the heater outlet.
6.
Loosely install the plenum bolt through the shield hole and back into its original location (Figure 11).
7.
Adjust the shield position so that the remaining shield hole aligns with the right knee blocker fastener hole (Figure 11).
8.
Reinstall the knee blocker. Make sure that the right fastener is installed through the shield and into the knee blocker support.
9.
Tighten the plenum bolt above the accelerator pedal securely.
10.
Ensure that the accelerator pedal moves freely and does not bind on the shield.
D. Refill and Bleed Cooling

Make sure all coolant hose connections are secure.
