Remove the green protective cap from the new handle. Position the handle with the release plunger facing left (driver side) on the shift lever,
lightly rap the handle with a closed fist to seat the handle on the lever.

NOTE:

USE ONLY HANDLES WITH THE GREEN PROTECTIVE CAP AT THE BASE OF THE HANDLE (FIGURE 1).

Check the transmission shift lever through all ranges - adjust shift cable if required.
