LOOSE MOLDING AT TOP OF WINDSHIELD
Some 1988 Medallion models may have a windshield molding that comes loose while driving at highway speeds. This rubber molding loosens as the
wind passes over it.
NOTE:
This condition may be checked during Pre-Delivery Inspection. Pull at the molding to see if it lifts out of its channel.
Service correction involves inserting a piece of vacuum hose and bonding it in place as described in the following procedure.

PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the clip (A) from the center of the upper windshield trim molding (Fig. 1).
2.
Disconnect the left and right upper windshield moldings (B).
3.
Move the upper windshield moldings down. Move them away from the upper windshield flange as shown (Fig. 1).
