Remove and discard the brake rotor (Figure 14).
9.
Clean the wheel hub with a wire brush.
10.
Remove the protective coating from the new rotor.
11.
Install a new rotor on the hub.
12.
Install the outboard brake shoe assembly (Figure 13).
13.
Install the caliper assembly over the brake rotor and brake shoe assemblies (Figure 12).
14.
Install the caliper guide pins/mounting bolts and tighten to 30 ft-lbs (35 N.m).
15.
Repeat Steps 3-14 for the other front brake rotor.
16.
Install both front wheel and tire assemblies. Tighten the lug nuts to 75 ft-lbs (102 N.m).
17.
Lower the vehicle.
18.
Pump the brake pedal to seat the caliper piston and brake shoes.
19.
Check the brake fluid level and adjust as necessary.
20.
Road test the vehicle to verify proper brake operation.

completions and provide dealer payments.
