Cut an additional 1 section from the engine side of the left (driver side) heater hose.
6.
Install the bypass valve using four of the medium sized clamps as follows (Figure 16):

Connect the brass colored bypass valve nipple to the engine side of the left (driver side) heater hose.

Connect the plastic nipple (next to the brass nipple) to the engine side of the right (passenger side) heater hose.

Connect the end plastic bypass valve nipple to the heater core side of the right (passenger side) heater hose.

Connect the remaining plastic bypass valve nipple to the heater core side of the left (driver side) heater hose.
NOTE:
The vacuum motor will be oriented up when correctly installed.

Cut a 1" section from the nylon vacuum tubing to the passenger side of the bypass valve and insert the cut ends of the vacuum tubing into the short
hoses on the bypass valve vacuum tee. Use a tie wrap to secure the vacuum line to the electrical harness (Figure 17).
NOTE:
There may be two vacuum lines in this area. Cut the vacuum line connecting the manifold vacuum source to the vacuum reservoir. Do not cut
the line from the vacuum reservoir to the speed control servo.
