Locate the eight way connector on the instrument panel wiring harness and cut the wires for circuits K86 and K87 (Figure 4).
10 .
Strip one inch of insulation from both wires that were cut and 1/2 inch of
insulation from wires on the speed sensor patch harness.
11.
Cut the piece of heat shrink tube (P/N 4419644) in half so that you have two one inch long pieces of heat shrink tube.
12.
Position one piece of heat shrink tube on each wire of the speed sensor patch harness.
