Check fluid level on the side of the dipstick marked HOT. (Figure 1.)

The level is correct if it is within the crosshatch area between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick. (Figure 1.)

This information should be noted on page F22 in the Premier Workshop Manual (M.R. 287), cross out the transmission fluid level check procedure and
reference this TSB Number 21-51-88.
