1.
Before road testing the vehicle, perform a visual inspection and make corrections as required.
2.
Conduct the road test to determine the level and source of the wind noise after completing Inspection Procedure A below.

Inspection Procedure - Procedure A
Inspect the following three areas first.
1.
Prior to the road test, inspect the front window channel and glass to ensure it was not deformed by the door glass when the door was closed.
If it has not been deformed, apply masking tape to the XXXXX as shown in Fig.
1.
Road test the vehicle. If the wind noise is isolated to the taped area, the window channel will have to be replaced as described in the Repair
Procedures below.

Inspect the door window channel-to-mirror bezel fit. Push in on the door glass channel at the arrow (Figure 2) and look for excessive
clearance between the channel and mirror bezel. If excessive clearance is found, the door glass channel will have to be replaced. Refer to
Repair Procedure A.
