Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Disconnect the Air-flow Sensor connector.
Testing The Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Connect an ohmmeter to terminals # 4 and # 6 of the sensor connector.
Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/ELECTRICAL.
Using a Hair Dryer
3.
While heating the temperature sensor with a hair dryer, measure the resistance.
As the temperature increases, the resistance should decrease. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/ELECTRICAL.
