STRUT SERVICE

Disassemble strut assembly as shown. Compress coil spring with tool Nos. MB991238 and MB991237, or equivalents, before removing locking
nut.

NOTE:  Spring seat and pad, are removed as a unit.

STRUT REPLACE

1. Raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove brake hose bracket to strut attaching screws, then bracket.
3. Remove strut to knuckle attaching bolts.
4. Remove dust cover from top of strut.
5. Remove strut assembly flange nuts, then strut.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
