Summit Vista FWD L4-1795cc 1.8L SOHC (1992)
Wheel Hub: Service and Repair
1. With vehicle on ground, remove cotter pin and loosen hub to drive shaft retaining nut.
2. Raise and support front of vehicle, remove wheel and tire assembly, then remove hub to driveshaft nut and washer.
3. Remove front brake caliper assembly from hub, then using suitable puller, disconnect tie rod end from steering knuckle.
4. Using axle shaft puller tool No. CT-1003 or equivalent, detach driveshaft from hub.
5. Disconnect steering knuckle from strut, then remove knuckle and hub as an assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. After installing brake assembly, bleed brake system.
