Using Feeler Gauge To Position Throttle Sensor
2. Insert a 0.656 mm (0.0256 in.) feeler gauge between the SAS screw and throttle lever.
Measuring Tps Voltage
3. Using a high-impedance digital voltmeter, carefully back probe the throttle position connector into terminals #1 (sensor ground) and #3. (sensor
output) Refer to the connector in the image.
4. Turn the key to the ON position.
5. Check the output voltage.
Voltage 0.40 - 1.00 volts
6. If the voltage is not as specified, check the sensor and harness.
7. Remove feeler gauge.
