Air Bag: Service and Repair
Passenger Side Airbag Module Replacement

Prior to performing service procedure, disarm air bag system as described under Air Bag System Disarming & Arming at Air Bag Systems/ Service
and Repair. Failure to disarm air bag system could result in system deployment and personal injury.

1. Disarm air bag.
2. Remove glove compartment.
3. On Summit Wagon models, remove knee protector bracket.
4. On all models, remove air bag module mounting screws and disconnect air bag module electrical connector.
5. Remove passenger's air bag module.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten screws to specifications.
