Fuel Tank Components
1. Relieve system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction / Service and Repair / Fuel Pressure Release Procedure. See: Engine,
Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Head Assembly/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair
2. Remove the rear seat.
3. Remove the hole covers under the rear seat from both the main tank and sub tank.
MAIN TANK SIDE
a. Disconnect the high pressure fuel hose.
b. Remove the fuel return hose, fuel suction hose and connectors, and then remove the fuel gauge and pump assembly.
