CRANKSHAFT REAR SEAL REPLACE
1. Remove transaxle as outlined under Clutch & Manual Transaxle section or in Automatic Transaxle unit repair section.
2. Remove flywheel or driveplate.
3. Remove rear plate and bellhousing cover.
4. Remove crankshaft rear main oil seal and retainer.
5. Remove oil seal from retainer.
6. Reverse procedure to install, apply sealant to shaded area shown in Fig. 41, prior to installation.
