Purge Control Solenoid Circuit
PURPOSE
The purge control solenoid valve is an electromechanical vacuum switching valve.
OPERATION
When the ECM senses conditions suitable for purge operation it supplies the ground circuit to the solenoid. The plunger in the solenoid moves
connecting the inlet and outlet ports. This allows vacuum to be applied to the purge port of the canister.
