6. When installing the fuel rail check to be sure that the rail insulator is correctly inserted into the installation holes. Tighten the mounting bolts.
Torque value:
2 - 3 ft lb (1.4 - 2.2 Nm)
7. Bolt the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel rail.
Torque value:
5 - 7 ft lb (7 - 10 Nm)
Fuel High Pressure Hose Installation
8. When connecting the high pressure fuel hose to the fuel rail apply fuel to the hose union, and then insert, being careful not to damage the O-ring.
Torque value:
3 - 4 ft lb (4 - 6 Nm)
9. After replacement of the fuel rail and injectors check for leaks with the system pressurized.
