REAR SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL (VEHICLES WITH ABS)
Caution: Be careful that the end pole piece does not strike the teeth of the rotor or other parts.
CALIPER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

Remove the caliper assembly and suspend it.
REAR HUB ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
Caution: During removal of the rear hub assembly, if the wheel bearing inner race has been left unremoved on the spindle side, be sure to replace
the rear hub assembly with a new one. If the rear hub assembly is to be installed with the inner race left unremoved, the oil seal lip could turn over,
resulting in oil leakage and looseness.
INSPECTION

Check the oil seal for cracks or damage.

Check the rear hub unit bearing for wear or damage.

Check the rear rotor for chipped teeth.
INSTALLATION SERVICE POINT
FLANGE NUT INSTALLATION
After tightening the flange nut, crimp the nut to meet the concave portion of the spindle.
REAR SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION (VEHICLES WITH ABS)
Install a feeler gauge into the space between the speed sensor's pole piece and the rotor's toothed surface, and then tighten the speed sensors at the
position where the clearance at all places is within the standard value.
