7. If clearance in thrust direction of side gear is not within specification, remove differential case A and make adjustment by adjusting thickness of

the thrust washer (left).

Disassembly

1. Remove attaching screw from differential case A.
2. Remove differential case B.
3. Remove left thrust washer. 

NOTE:  Since thrust washer from left side is of a different thickness than the right side, it will be necessary to mark the washer in some manner for
assembly reference.

4. Remove viscous unit, pinion mate washer, differential pinion mate, pinion shaft and righthand differential side gear.
5. Remove right thrust washer. 

NOTE:  Since thrust washer from right side is of a different thickness than the left side, it will be necessary to mark the washer for assembly
reference.
