Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
Master Cylinder And Brake Booster Components
REMOVAL
1. Drain the brake fluid.
2. On models equipped with manual transmissions remove the clutch fluid reservoir bracket.
3. Remove center member assembly mounting bolts.
4. Remove engine mounting bracket.
5. Remove air conditioning compressor mounting bolts.
6. Remove air conditioning high pressure hose clamp mounting bolts.
7. Remove power steering pressure hose, pipe and return pipe clamp mounting bolts.
8. Follow procedure outlined in above image.
Brake Booster Removal
9. Slide the engine forward and remove the brake booster from the body.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order except as noted below.
