Talon AWD L4-1997cc 2.0L DOHC Turbo VIN F SMFI (1997)
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order noting the following.
2. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the entire inside diameter of the oil seal lip.
3. Tap in the oil seal as shown in the illustration.
4. Clean off all sealant, oil and other substances which are adhering to the threaded bolts, crankshaft thread holes and the drive plate.
5. Apply on to the bearing surface of the drive plate bolt.
6. Apply oil to the crankshaft thread holes.
7. Apply sealant to the threaded mounting bolts. Using sealant MOPAR Part No. 4318031 or 4318032 or equivalent
8. Use the special tool to secure the drive plate, and then tighten the bolts to 127 - 137 Nm (94 - 101 ft. lbs.).
