Refrigerant Temperature Switch Continuity Check
REFRIGERANT-TEMPERATURE SWITCH CONTINUITY CHECK
1. Immerse the refrigerant-temperature switch in engine oil.
2. Use an ohmmeter to check continuity when the engine oil has become heated.
ON (continuity) temperature Approx. 165°C (329°F) or less.
OFF (no continuity) temperature Approx. 165°C (329°F) or more (until the temperature drops to approx. 110°C (230°F) when OFF).
CAUTION: Do not heat the oil more than necessary.
