Throttle Body Stay
4.
Remove the throttle body stay.
5.
Remove the four bolts securing the throttle body to the intake air plenum and remove the throttle body.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install a new gasket.
2.
Install the throttle body and torque the bolts, in a cross-pattern to 11-16 lb-ft (15-22 Nm).
Throttle Body Attachment Bolts
NOTE: Bolts 1 and 2 are not the same length. Ensure that the bolt installed in 1 is .31 x 1.18 in. (8 x 30 mm) and the bolt in 2 is .31 x 2.16 in. (8
x 30 mm).
3.
Install the throttle body stay, torque the bolts to 7-9 lb-ft (10-13 Nm).
4.
Reconnect the throttle cable (and cruise control cable, if equipped).
5.
Reconnect the intake air duct.
6.
For the initial adjustment of the throttle position sensor and the idle speed screw, refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.
