SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

On the listed models, the door outer weatherstrip may come loose from the door sash channel along the top edge of the door and require the addition of
an adhesive to hold it in place.

NOTE:

THE HIGH SILICONE CONTENT OF THE WEATHERSTRIP MAKES ADHESION DIFFICULT, THEREFORE THE LISTED 3M
WEATHERSTRIP ADHESIVE IS REQUIRED.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This procedure involves the application of weatherstrip adhesive along the top edge of the door sash to secure the weatherstrip.

1.

Remove the door outer weatherstrip from the horizontal portion of the door sash channel, from the corner mold forward (Figure 1). It is not
necessary to remove the weatherstrip entirely from the door.
