Resistance Inspection
Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge
1. Remove the power supply tightening screw.
2. Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance value between the terminals.
CAUTION: When inserting the testing probe into the power supply terminal, be careful not to touch the printed board.
Standard value:
Power supply-Ground.....................................................................................................................................................................178.9 ± 18 Ohm
Power supply-Engine coolant temperature gauge...............................................................................................................................54 ± 2.7 Ohm
Engine coolant temperature gauge-Ground....................................................................................................................................232.9 ± 23 Ohm
