Drive Belt: Adjustments
A/C Belt Adjustment
1. Loosen the tension pulley nut.
2. Adjust the belt deflection amount using the adjusting bolt.
Tension:
New Belt Installed: 608 - 706 N (136.7 - 158.7 lbs.)
Used Belt Installed: 412 - 510 N (92.6 - 114.6 lbs.)
Deflection (Reference Value):
New Belt Installed: 8 - 9 mm (0.32 - 0.35 inch)
Used Belt Installed: 10 - 11 mm (0.39 - 0.43 inch)
3. Tighten the tension pulley nut.
NOTE: Fix the power steering oil pump at the closest position to the vehicle front.
