Take a piece of 22 gauge wire, 5 ft. in length, and strip each end of the wire.
7.
Slide the 5 ft. of wire through two pieces of 0.25" (P/N 4419644) heat shrink tubing.
8.
Twist each end piece of wire with each end of the M2 yellow wire.
9.
Solder the two wire joints using rosin core solder.
10.
Cover each wire joint with a piece of heat shrink tubing and apply it to the wire using a heat gun.
11.
Fold the additional wire back and forth on itself and tape it to the wire harness.
12.
Re-connect the wiring connectors.
13.
Install the Body Control Module.
14.
Connect the battery and test the system.
