SUBJECT:
Manual A/C Inoperative

MODELS:

1993 (LH) Concorde/Intrepid/Vision

NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO MANUAL A/C EQUIPPED VEHICLES.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Manual A/C inoperative. Body Control Module (BCM) A/C function locked up.

DIAGNOSIS:

A/C is inoperative, A/C system fully charged, evaporator temp sensor OK, A/C pressure transducer OK. These symptoms may indicate that the Body
Control Module is locked up.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This repair involves resetting the BCM.

1.

Turn the ignition switch off.

2.

Disconnect the underhood bullet connector near the battery or remove the "Interior Lights" 10 Amp fuse from junction block cavity 13.

3.

Wait five (5) minutes.

4.

Reconnect the bullet connector and reinsert the fuse.
