Throttle Body Replacement
Throttle Body 3.3L
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal, before removing fuel injection components.
2.
Disconnect the PCV make up air hose from valve cover. Remove air cleaner resonator from the throttle body.
3.
Disconnect purge hose from throttle body.
TPS 3.3L
4.
Disconnect IAC motor and TPS electrical connectors.
Throttle Cable 3.5L
5.
Rotate throttle to wide open position. Remove throttle cable and speed control cable.
6.
Remove the throttle body mounting bolts, the throttle body, and the gasket. Clean the throttle body and remove all old gasket material.
