Sun Shade: Service and Repair

NOTE:  The numbered call-outs in the following service procedure refer the numbered parts found in the exploded view diagram.

REMOVAL

1. Remove sunroof glass panel.
2. Remove rear trough (25).
3. Bow sunshade (46) upward to release sunshade from channel forward of gate slot.
4. Lift sunshade upward and forward out of gate slot in left channel.
5. Slide sunshade forward.
6. Separate sunshade from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Place sunshade in position on vehicle.
2. Insert sunshade into channel on right side of opening.
3. Insert sunshade into gate slot in left channel.
4. Slide sunshade rearward.
5. Bow sunshade upward and insert sunshade edge into channel forward of gate slot.
6. Install rear trough.
7. Install glass panel. Make sure it is adjusted correctly Verify sunroof operation and alignment.
8. Install both mechanism reveal covers (26).
