Position the steering gear housing against the Receiver in such a way that the Receiver does not come in contact with the support ribs on the gear
housing. Start the new bushing in the bottom of the housing and tighten the screw drive until the Driver contacts the bushing retainer washer.
Slowly tighten the screw drive until the bushing bottoms in the recessed area of the steering gear housing (Figure 2).

5.

Repeat procedure on the other power steering gear housing bushing.

6.

Install steering gear in vehicle.
