Hub And Bearing Retaining Nut
12.
Install the washer and retaining nut for the hub/bearing assembly. Tighten the retaining nut to a torque of 168 Nm (124 ft. lbs.).
13.
Install the wave washer, nut retainer and cotter pin on rear spindle.
14.
Install hub/bearing dust cap.
15.
Install the brake drum, and the wheel and tire assembly.

When repairs are complete, adjust rear brakes before adjusting parking brake. See Parking Brake System Adjustments for complete parking

Removal
PROCEDURE
Raise vehicle using a frame contact type hoist or correctly jack and support the vehicle using jack stands.
1.
Remove the rear wheel and tire assembly from the side of the vehicle requiring service to the park brake cable.
2.
Remove the rear brake drum from the rear hub/bearing assembly.

Remove dust cap from rear hub/bearing assembly.
