Valve Cover: Service and Repair
Spark Plug Tube
REMOVAL
1. Remove cylinder head cover.
2. Using locking pliers remove the tube from the cylinder head. Discard old tube.
3. Clean area around spark plug with MOPAR (R) parts cleaner or equivalent.
INSTALLATION
1. New tubes have sealer applied to them. Do Not Use Additional Sealer On Tube.
2. Install New Tube using the spark plug tube nut and a 32 mm socket Immediately tighten to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
3. Install cylinder head cover.
