Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Release fuel system pressure. Refer to Powertrain Management.
2. Drain cooling system.
3. Remove engine cover from top of intake manifold plenum.
4. Remove accelerator cable and speed control cable from throttle arm.
5. Disconnect electrical connectors from idle air control motor, and intake air temperature.
6. Remove ground screw from intake manifold.
7. Disconnect vacuum hose from manifold tuning valve.
