Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Power Steering Fluid Cooler Lines
Removal
1. Remove the positive and negative cables from the terminals on the battery.
2. Remove the cover from the battery.
3. Remove battery from battery tray.
4. Remove the battery tray. The battery tray is mounted using the 3 bolts and nut as shown.
5. Remove the bolt attaching the power steering fluid reservoir to the left frame rail.
6. Remove the 2 bolts mounting the heat shield for the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) to the HCU mounting bracket.
