Throttle Body: Service and Repair
Throttle Body Replacement
LEFT THROTTLE BODY
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, before removing fuel injection components.
Throttle Lever 3.5L
Throttle Cable 3.5L
2. Rotate throttle to wide open position. Remove throttle cable and speed control cable.
3. Remove tube connecting air cleaner to air intake plenum.
Air Intake Plenum Removal
4. Disconnect air intake plenum from throttle bodies. Remove PCV make up air tube and idle air control motor. Remove intake air plenum from right
side of vehicle.
