Ball Joint: Description and Operation
The front suspension lower control arm ball joints operate with no free play.
The ball joints are not replaceable as a separate component of the lower control arm assembly. If a ball joint is found to be defective, the entire lower
control arm will need to be replaced. Do not attempt any type of repair on the ball joint assembly.
