This is to advise you of a special Ford Motor Company service program (M61) involving a front brake noise condition on certain 1986 and 1987- model
Aerostar trucks. Our records indicate that you own the truck described below:

REASON FOR THE PROGRAM
Your Aerostar may exhibit a front brake noise when the brakes are lightly applied at low speed.
WHAT WE WILL DO
If your Aerostar should have front brake noise your Ford dealer will install revised brake parts. This no-charge service is available during the base
vehicle warranty (12-months from the in-service date or 12,000-miles of operation, whichever comes first) or through March 31, 1989, whichever
provides greater coverage.
Coverage and service is for the brake noise condition only. Routine servicing of brakes or linings is not considered part of this program.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
PLEASE RETAIN THIS LETTER. If your Aerostar should exhibit the brake noise condition within the indicated limitations, contact your Ford dealer.
REFUNDS
If you have already had the front brakes of your Aerostar serviced at your expense prior to the receipt of this notification because of
the described condition, Ford will refund you for the cost that you incurred for the parts and labor. Refunds include any deductible
amounts you may have paid.
To request a refund, please present your paid repair order or over-the-counter parts purchase receipt to any Ford dealership by March
31, 1989. The dealership will make arrangements to refund you for the repair costs that you incurred.
