4. Measure rotor endplay, Fig. 12, which should not exceed 0.004 inch.
5. Check driveshaft to housing bearing clearance. This measurement should be 0.0015-0.0030 inch.
6. Measure relief valve spring tension, which should be 13.6-14.7 lbs. measured at a length of 1.39 inches.
7. Inspect relief valve piston for scores and ensure its free operation in bore.
