Instrument Panel Ducts
Air Plenum Chamber and Duct
Removal and Installation
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove heater water hoses from heater core as outlined under Heater Water Hoses in Removal and Installation in this section. Plug heater
water hoses.
3.
Remove instrument panel.
4.
Remove six nuts from studs retaining heater air plenum chamber to dash panel (passenger compartment) and remove heater air plenum
chamber.
For installation, follow removal steps in reverse order. Use care when routing heater temperature cable. Check system for proper operation.
Outlet Floor Duct
Removal and Installation
1.
Remove screw attaching heater outlet floor duct to dash panel on driver's side.
2.
Disengage heater outlet floor duct from heater air plenum chamber, and remove.
3.
To install, position heater outlet floor duct to the heater air plenum chamber. Install attaching screw.
