Air Conditioning and Heating Assembly, Rear

Removal

1.

Discharge the refrigerant from the air conditioning system if auxiliary air conditioner is installed. Observe all safety precautions.

2.

Remove all seats behind the driver.

3.

Remove the auxiliary heater and/or air conditioner service cover attaching screws, and remove the cover.

4.

Remove body side trim panel.

5.

Working under the vehicle, disconnect the vacuum line from the water valve. Remove the two retaining nuts from carriage bolts.

6.

Disconnect the heater hoses by depressing white tabs while pulling connectors apart. Plug all hose ends.

7.

Inside the vehicle, disconnect the refrigerant lines and plug lines.
