Aerostar 2WD V6-182 3.0L (1995)
Tail Lamp: Description and Operation
Lamps, Parking, Tail and Marker
The park, tail and side marker lamps are on a common circuit controlled by the headlamp switch (11654). On Aerostar and Ranger models, the
exterior lamps are connected directly to the headlamp switch. On Explorer models, the exterior lamps are connected to the headlamp switch through a
normally closed relay. If an Explorer is equipped with an autolamp/exit delay or anti-theft system, this relay is used to turn on the exterior lamps
independently of the headlamp switch. Without these systems, the relay is non-functional and remains closed in the headlamp switch to exterior lamps
position.
