Blower Motor Switch: Description and Operation
Control Switch, Rear
The controls for the auxiliary unit consist of a switch for the front heater and air conditioner control, and a switch on the left rear trim panel (1ust
behind the driver's seat), this switch is made operative only when the front auxiliary switch is set at REAR CTRL. Function of both the main and
auxiliary systems is controlled by the front function selector.
The auxiliary switch on the lower left side of the A/C control is the main control for the rear blower motor. It provides the driver three speeds and OFF
control of the rear blower motor. It also allows the driver to give control of the speeds to the rear passengers by selecting the REAR CTRL position.
This position activates the heater blower motor switch located on the left-rear trim panel behind the driver. When activated by the rear switch, the
heater blower motor switch provides four speeds and OFF.
When the front selector knob is in the OFF position, the rear unit is also off.
