On the left side upper body mount, install the spacer, original bushing, additional "spacer" washer (F69Z-5A349-AA), original washer and nut in
that order. Torque nut to 103 +/-15.5 N.m (76 +/-11.4 lb-ft). Refer to Figure 1.

Make sure the spacer is installed properly and that the added "spacer" washer is centered on the shaft and not hung up on bayonnet shoulder.

9.

Reassemble the vehicle and torque all bolts and nuts to the specifications listed in the 1993 Aerostar Service Manual, Section 04-02.

10.

Check steering wheel clear vision and adjust if necessary.
