Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1.
Remove transmission.
2.
Remove clutch housing to transmission attaching bolts, then separate clutch housing from transmission.

Remove slave cylinder from transmission input shaft.
4.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Position slave cylinder onto input shaft, ensuring that bleed screw and coupling are facing the left side of transmission.
b. Install slave cylinder attaching bolts.

c. When installing clutch housing to transmission, ensure that slave cylinder is properly located in notches of housing. Tighten clutch housing to
transmission attaching bolts.
d. Bleed clutch system.
