ISSUE:
A "rattle" or "buzz" from the sides of the instrument panel and/or side windows may occur on some vehicles. This may be caused by A-pillar trim
contacting A-pillar and side quarter glass.
ACTION:
Shim side glass moulding out 2 mm with a washer at the lower fastener (the washer I.D. should be larger than the screw, but not larger than the screw
dowel). Also, put foam tape on the back side of the lower edge of moulding that is closest to windshield. The tape should be 101.6 mm (4") in length,
1/2" in width, and approximately 1/16" thick. Refer to Figure 1.
