1.
On 1992 models, disable airbag system as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
2.
On all models, disconnect battery ground cable.
3.
Disconnect electrical connector from switch, Fig. 5.
4.
Remove hairpin retainer, slide switch and pushrod.
5.
Position spacers and bushing away from brake pedal and remove switch from vehicle.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag system.
