Safety Recall 90S12 - 1989/90 Aerostar Right Rear Quad Bucket Seat, E-Z Access Latch Replacement
AFFECTED VEHICLES
Certain 1989/90 Aerostars with Quad Bucket Seats built
from 4/18/89 to 2/8/90.
REASONS FOR RECALL
The right rear Quad Bucket Seat assembly may unlatch
and tilt forward under certain severe crash conditions.
If this should occur, an occupant of the right rear seat could contact the back of the right front passenger seat, even when using the
seat belt.
To correct this condition, dealers are to install a newly designed E-Z Access Seat Latch.

Submit 1864 claims using DWE for all completed vehicles.
You may use your original 1863 for your record file copy.
